Shehu Sani, Senator representing Kaduna Central, has reacted to report of the United States, US, President, Donald Trump calling President Muhammadu Buhari a “lifeless President.”
Financial Times had reported that Trump after meeting with Buhari a few months ago, said he never wanted to meet someone as lifeless as Buhari again.
Reacting to the comment, the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain stressed that the comment credited to the US President was “nothing but a waggish work of fiction.”
In a tweet, the lawmaker wondered why the authors of what he termed “afterthoughts” had to wait for four months before making the comment public.
“President Trump’s reportedly ‘Lifeless’ comments about his meeting with PMB is nothing but ‘a waggish work of fiction’ by ‘authors of afterthoughts’.
“Why did they wait for four months to produce such a fib?” He tweeted.
