Lecturer suspended indefinitely for impregnating, abandoning female student in Ogun

Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese Ijebu has suspended a lecturer, Dr Oluseyi Adu who reportedly impregnated a Nursing student of the school.

Back in May 2017, a Dental Nursing student identified, Mosunmola and Adu battled over who is responsible for the pregnancy that the 28-year-old lady is carrying.

The Nursing student, who is currently carrying a 9-months pregnancy, alleged that her lecturer is responsible for the child, adding that they had sex in a hotel sometime in August, 2016.

Adu, who is married with two children, had accused Mosunmola of seducing him while the student in reverse, said the lecturer coerced her into the relationship as a precondition to passing his course which she failed.

The lecturer has now been indefinitely suspended by the college for allegedly having sex with and impregnating the student.

The suspension was posted on a notice board at the administration block of the college, where the academic community was asked not to have any dealings with him.
