Delta State government has confirmed the death of one person as a result of Lassa Fever.
The patient said to be a middle-aged woman, died on Wednesday at the Federal Medical Center in Asaba.
The Commissioner for Health, Dr Nicholas Azinge confirmed the incident to Channels Television.
He said “Two other cases of Lassa fever was confirmed in the state.
“The other case is being treated and the patient is responding to treatment.”
