A 50-year-old Landlord, Patrick Emeka Onukafor, has been arrested by the police at Ago Palace, Okota, Lagos, for causing a breach of peace.

He was charged before the Cele Magistrate’s Court and was accused by his tenant, Edith Ndu of an attempt to eject her from the 3 bedroom flat she occupied at 1, Havana street, Ago-Okota, by dropping a live snake in her flat.

The tenant further accused him of recruiting thugs and fake policemen to threaten her life, despite the fact that she didn’t owe him.

When the matter was reported to the police, the Landlord was immediately arrested and made to write a statement.

In his statement to the police, the Landlord insisted that the tenant owed him one (1) year rent yet, refused to vacate the house.

He admitted dropping a live snake in her apartment to force the tenant out, but denied hiring thugs and fake Policemen to kill her.
