Frank Lampard scored twice against Aston Villa, to secure Champions League football for Chelsea.

The Blues went into the break one goal down and one man down, after Christian Benteke gave Villa the lead and Ramires was sent off for two bookable offences.

Rafa Benitez replaced Victor Moses with David Luiz at half-time, but the visitors only seized initiative, after Benteke was red-carded for a high challenge on John Terry.

Hazard set up the two goals for Lampard. The England international slammed home a neat lay-off from the Belgian winger to level scores, before good work down the left from Hazard and Cole, allowed him to tap in the winner.

Lampard now sits on top of the Chelsea goal scoring charts with 203 goals, one ahead of Bobby Tambling.

His brace also ensured that the Stamford Bridge side, are assured of a place in next season’s Champions League.
