Barcelona manager, Enersto Valverde has explained why his side defeated Real Valladolid 1-0 in the La Liga encounter on Saturday night.
Lionel Messi scored one penalty kick and missed another to hand Barcelona all three points against Valladolid.
Valverde said his players lacked fluidity during the first half of the match against the visitors.
“We didn’t move the ball as quickly as we needed to,” Valverde told the club’s official website at post-match.
“We lacked fluidity in the first half, we had it in the second. We were more ourselves.
“We had six chances but we know that everything is looked at through the result.”
The win over Valladolid means Barcelona are now seven-point ahead second-place, Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga table.
