LaLiga: Sevilla vs Barcelona: Team news, injuries, possible lineups

Ernesto Valverde’s Barcelona will on Saturday night clash with Sevilla in the La Liga.

Valverde’s men are yet to taste defeat in the Spanish topflight football league this season.

The La Liga league leaders have won each of last seven meetings with Sevilla, which includes a 2-1 victory in November at Camp Nou when the teams faced each other earlier this season.

Barcelona are 11 points ahead of second place, Atletico Madrid in the league table.

The Catalan club have won five matches and drawn one in their last six games.

Star player, Lionel Messi missed the international friendly due to a slight knock and may not feature in this match.

Midfielder, Sergio Busquets and goalkeeper, Andre ter Stegen are also injured and are both doubtful to start.

Meanwhile, Vincenzo Montella’s Sevilla has to keep his side at their best if he wants a win against Barcelona.

Montella’s men will be hoping for a win in this home fixture, and it is unlikely that they will succeed considering the form that their opposition is in.

The Los Rojiblancos are currently in the 6th position of the league table and with three defeats in their last six games, their top six positions might be in jeopardy.

Jesus Navas and Daniel Carrico are injured and are both doubtful to start.

Pablo Sarabia is suspended for this fixture.
