Former Brazilian international, Ronaldo de Lima, has stated that his compatriot, Neymar, won’t be joining Real Madrid from PSG at the end of the current season.
Ronaldo said the 26-year-old forward is happy with life in Paris.
Neymar shocked the footballing world when he quit Barcelona for PSG in a world-record deal worth £200m last summer.
The Brazilian international’s first nine months in France have been surrounded by speculation that he will return to Spain one day with Real Madrid.
But Ronaldo, a former Real Madrid star, told Spanish newspaper, AS, “I’ve heard a lot of that that Neymar can end up at Real Madrid but the truth is that I think it’s very difficult.
“He just recently signed for PSG for a lot of money, I do not think that money is a problem for PSG.
“Even if Real Madrid puts [forward] a very large number I do not think that PSG will change their mind.
“I see it quite complicated that some day Neymar can play at Real Madrid; right now I think it is impossible.
“He will still be young, but now I think it is impossible.
“I think he is doing well and he likes Paris.”
