LaLiga: Real Madrid angry with James Rodriguez

Columbian international, James Rodriguez, has angered Real Madrid by expressing the desire to join Manchester United.

The midfielder is currently spending the season on loan at Bayern Munich and scored against his parent club in their 2-2 draw in the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night.

Rodriguez left Bernabeu for Bayern Munich in the summer, rejecting a move to Manchester United in the process.

The Colombia international has been a huge hit in Bavaria, driving Bayern towards another Bundesliga title.

El Gol Digital reports that the midfielder could snub both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid and moving to United at the end of the season.

The report said the Colombian has held talks with United manager, Jose Mourinho over the phone, outlining his eagerness to join the Red Devils.

The newspaper said his efforts to move to Old Trafford has irked Real.

The La Liga giants could recall Rodriguez if Zinedine Zidane chooses to walk away at the end of the campaign.

Bayern have already confirmed they will activate the player’s £37million clause to sign him permanently.

But they could choose to offload him to recoup a huge transfer fee.
