Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi on Saturday made history in his side’s 2-2 draw with Valencia in the La Liga encounter.

Two goals from Lionel Messi ensured Barcelona came from two goals behind to draw 2-2 with Valencia at Camp Nou.

However, Kevin Gameiro and Dani Parejo did score for Valencia.

According to Yetu Game, Messi becomes the third player in the La Liga history to score 50 penalty goals, after Cristiano Ronaldo (61) and Hugo Sanchez (56)

The result against Valencia means Barcelona are now six points ahead of second-placed Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga table.

Barcelona will tackle Atletico Bilbao in their next La Liga fixture.
