Lagos: What Ambode said about Tinubu

The Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, on Thursday, described the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, as a “dogged leader”.

Ambode made the remark during the 11th Bola Tinubu Colloquium to mark the 67th birthday of the APC National Leader in Abuja at the International Conference Centre, ICC, Abuja.

The governor stated that with undoubted political courage, Tinubu spearheaded the ruling party to victory in recent the national elections, adding that the APC leader had been key to the successes and progress recorded by the current administration.

He stated that the former governor of Lagos State was going to be part of the success of Nigeria in years to come.

“We are here today to celebrate,” the Lagos governor said.

NAN reports that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and many other dignitaries attended the colloquium.
