Lagos residents beat FRSC official to pulp for allegedly causing accident [PHOTOS]

A shocking drama played out on Sunday in the Jibowu area of Lagos state as a group of angry youths beat a Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, official to a pulp.

The mob pounced on the fully kitted officer after accusing him of causing an accident in the area.

Although the details of the accident were not clearly stated as at press time, he was said to have escaped after he allegedly caused the accident while trying to flag down a motorist.

Residents gave him a hot chase and eventually caught up with him.

He was severely brutalized.
