Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to Babajide Sanwo-olu’s victory in the Lagos governorship election held yesterday.
Writing on his Twitter page, Omokri claimed that Sanwo-olu’s victory means the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has a “new employee”.
He tweeted: “Congratulations @jidesanwoolu Babajide Sanwo-Olu!
“Bola @AsiwajuTinubu has a new employee.
“Lagos people have a new puppet. #ThePuppetHasWon”
Sanwo-Olu defeated Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to emerge Governor-elect.
He polled 739,445 votes, while Agbaje got 206,141 votes.
