Alexandre Lacazette has been named the Ligue 1 Player of the Year.
The Lyon hitman pipped PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who would have won it for the third straight year – to the award. Lacazette scored 27 league goals, as his team qualified for the Champions League.
Other players in the running included Javier pastore and Marco Verratti.
Lacazette also reacted to speculation linking him to Liverpool, Arsenal and PSG.
“I don’t know,” he replied when asked if he would still be at OL next season.
“That is a question that will be asked at the end of the season.
“I am very proud, it is a boyhood dream come true to win the trophy for the best player.”
Lacazette’s team-mate Nabil Fekir, clinched the young player award.
