La Liga: Zidane best manager in the world – Florentino Perez

Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez has described the club manager, Zinedine Zidane as the best manager in the world.

The present who has at different periods worked with the likes of Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti, considers Zidane to be “the best coach in the world.”

Zidane has returned the La Liga title to Spain capital city for the first time in five years.

The Frenchman is now looking to make history by becoming the first man to successfully defend the Champions League crown.

Real Madrid will file out against Juventus in the final.

But whatever the outcome of the match in Cardiff, Perez believes that Zidane, a former World Footballer of the year, has shown himself to be among the finest managers in the world.

Perez who was speaking at Madrid’s town hall during the club’s title celebrations, said, “Thanks Zinedine for all you have given us, and all you keep giving us.

“You were the best player in the world, and now you are simply the best coach in the world.

“You, your assistants, and this squad have made history again with exciting football. Madrid scored in every game of the season, which shows our philosophy.

“They all took part, they are all important and this team spirit has made us stronger.

“This league title is a symbol of our values, it was achieved fighting until the last game, and respecting our opponents, who made it difficult for us.

“This team has given us something we had wished for a long time.”

To lay hand on the title, Madrid edged out eternal rivals Barcelona by three points scoring 106 times in 38 fixtures which delivered 29 victories and only three defeats.
