Barcelona’s title hopes suffered a setback, after they were defeated 2-0 by Malaga on Saturday night at La Rosaleda.
Luis Enrique’s men would have moved level on points with Real Madrid with a win, after the Madrid Derby ended in a 1-1 draw, but they returned home with no points.
Sandro Ramirez opened scoring against his former club just before the break, taking full advantage of poor defending from Jeremy Mathieu. 
It went from bad to worse for Barca, after Neymar received his second booking for a reckless challenge on Diego Llorente near the corner flag. He became the first Barcelona player to be sent off in La Liga since October 2015.
