Lionel Messi scored four times on Tuesday night, as Barcelona maintained their perfect start to this season’s La Liga campaign, with a 6-1 thrashing of Eibar at the Camp Nou.
Messi found the net from the spot early on and Paulinho soon doubled Barca’s lead, heading home from a corner.
Denis Suarez added a third early in the second half after Messi had been denied, before Sergi Enrich pulled a goal back for the visitors.
But the Argentine superstar scored three more in the second-half for another hat-trick.
The Catalans remain top of the table with 15 points, seven more than Real Madrid who take on Real Betis on Wednesday.
