The Governor of Kano State, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has shed light on the visit of the Emir of Kano, Mohammed Sanusi 11 to the presidency and the resultant reconciliation.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential hopeful said it was the people of Kano that wanted a reconciliation with the presidency, adding that he sanctioned the emir’s visit and reconciliation with President Goodluck Jonathan.
Kwankwaso said “I will be very happy if Villa will be inviting Kano people for reconciliation. We want reconciliation to be reconciliation not something else.
“Emir of Kano told me he is going to Abuja for meeting with the president and I gave him approval to go.
“The Emir after their meeting with president also briefed me about all that happened there”.
