Reports reaching DAILY POST say President Muhammadu Buhari, Thursday, had a brief meeting with the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Mathew Hassan Kukah at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Though details of the brief meeting are still unknown, Kukah, a member of the National Peace Committee delegation that visited the President earlier this month, is believed by many to be against President Buhari’s move to probe corrupt ex-public officials.
The cleric resisted attempts by State House correspondents to question him on his mission to the the Presidential Villa.
Kukah, simply told journalists: “I have a plane to catch by 12:30pm.”
