Dino Melaye, Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, has accused the State Governor, Yahaya Bello of empowering thugs and masquerades with exotic cars.
Melaye made the remark while lamenting the inability of Permanent Secretaries in the state to own cars.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the lawmaker said while Bello was empowering thugs and masquerades with cars, Permanent Secretaries were going to work on “Okada.”
According to Melaye, such situation was pathetic.
He wrote: “It is so pathetic to see a permanent secretary in Kogi coming to work and going back on Okada.
“This is most unacceptable and it was not so in the previous administration in Kogi State.
“No official car for perm secs while thugs and masquerades drive jeeps courtesy Yahaya Bello.- SDM.”
