Kogi State Governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has finally cast his vote.

Wada had stormed out of his polling unit after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) machine failed to accredit him.

At polling unit 001 Odu, in Dekina local government area, Wada presented himself for accreditation around 12 noon, but the card reader did not accept his fingerprints.

Wada, whose wife also had her fingerprint rejected, filled the incident form and left in visible anger.

At 4:05pm, when DAILY POST contacted Wada’s media aide, Phrank Shuaib, on the situation, he said his principal had voted.

“The governor voted just 3 minutes ago. But he was accredited manually.

“The card reader did not work as was the case earlier in the day”.
