Kidnappers release TASUED Deputy Vice Chancellor

The abducted Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijebu-Ode, , has regained freedom.

Spokesman for the Ogun State Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed his release late Tuesday night.

He disclosed that the don had since re-united with his family.

Olusanya was returning from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta on Monday evening, where he had gone on official assignment, when he was abducted by gunmen.

He had served as external invigilator at the ongoing postgraduate examination at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and was on his way back to his campus when he was seized by his abductors at Odogbolu-Ijebu-Ode junction along Ore- Benin expressway.

Olusanya was initially abducted alongside his driver, who was later dropped by the roadside at Odogbolu.

The university had also planned a prayer session to seek divine intervention for the release of the abducted lecturer.
