Kidnapper of mother, four-month-old baby arrested in Bauchi [Photo]

The Bauchi State police command has arrested a suspected kidnapper, Buba Sale, for allegedly abducting a woman, Binta Mohammed, and her four-month-old baby in Liman Katagun area of the state.
The suspect was among other three suspects paraded on Thursday by DSP Dalti Abubakar.
The Anti-kidnapping unit rescued the baby and mother following investigation after the suspect demanded a ransom of N500,000.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Dalti Abubakar, told newsmen on Thursday that the suspects would be charged to court after ongoing investigations.
He said, “the suspect was arrested by anti-kidnapping unit due to investigations. He kidnapped the victim with her four-month-old baby on July 6 at about 1.30am and demanded a ransom of N500,000.
“The hostage was rescued alive and rushed to the hospital where she was admitted for treatment.
“The case is under investigation after which the suspect will be charged to court.”
