Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, has revealed that the list of players for the World Cup qualifier against Kenya, will be released next week.

Keshi stated that there will be no new player from the Nigeria Premier League involved, when Nigeria hosts the Harambee Stars on March 23 in Calabar.

He said: “The list for the Super Eagles for the game against Kenya will be released next week on or before the March 9. We already know the players but we are weighing up some options.”

Keshi’s assistant, Sylvanus Okpala, added that the coaches will keep faith with the players who won gold in South Africa and there will basically be no new names.

“The fact is that we are not going to call a new set of players for the World Cup qualifier against Kenya, especially the home-based players because the league is not on and there is no platform to see them. We have enough players at our disposal to choose from now,” Okpala told a Lagos-based radio station.
