Former Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi, is set to drag the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to court, for “wrongful dismissal and defamation”.
The Big Boss was sacked on July 5, after a disciplinary committee found him guilty of applying for the vacant Ivory Coast job – an allegation he denied severally.
He has now, through a Kaduna-based law firm, formally notified the NFF of legal proceedings against them.
“Keshi’s lawyers have written the NFF threatening to sue for wrongful dismissal and defamation of character,” a source informed AfricanFootball.com
“But the truth of the matter is that he does not have a leg to stand on as far as this matter is concerned.
“It’s all laughable and he’s just chasing shadows.”
Reports had initially claimed that Keshi was ready to drag the NFF to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), but he has since refuted such stories
