Stephen is likely to sign a new two-year contract to continue as Super Eagles coach on Wednesday.
This was confirmed by the House Committee on Sports chairman Godfrey Ali Gaya, in an exclusive interview with AfricanFootball yesterday.
“I spoke with the NFF president (Amaju Pinnick), yesterday and he said Keshi has agreed to the contract which he will sign by Wednesday,” Gaiya revealed.
Keshi’s new deal will see him earn N5million per month. The Big Boss will also receive N3million for accommodation and N500,000 for transportation.
His initial three-year contract expired after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Keshi’s assistant Daniel Amokachi, is, however, expected to be in charge when the Eagles play Uganda in an international friendly on Wednesday in Uyo.
