Stephen Keshi has expressed his unhappiness about his strikers’ lack of efficiency in front of goal.
Nigeria defeated Tahiti 6-1 in their opening game at the Confederations Cup, but Ujah, Musa and Ideye missed a host of gilt-edged chances, which has left the Super Eagles boss worried.
“We had some chances, they needed to bury the goals,” he said.
“When you play a game like this you tend to give the opposition team the confidence to come back. They scored their goal and reacted a little bit.”
“I’m happy with how we did and we’ll see how we get on against Uruguay.”
The Eagles play South American champions Uruguay on Thursday and early indications are that Brown Ideye, who was used a substitute against Tahiti, will start the game.
