Stephen Keshi has said that he has not held any discussions with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over a new deal.
The head of NFF’s Technical Committee, Felix Anyasi-Agwu, on Tuesday stated that the 53-year-old had been spoken to and offered a contract.
However, in a new twist, Keshi insists he is not aware of such meeting or contract.
“Nobody has called me about any meeting or anything about a contract,” Keshi told SportingLife.
“I am not aware of anything of the sort. And no one has talked to me about a renewal of contract.
“As of now, no one has called me. Maybe later or tomorrow but for now, none has called me for any contract talks.”
Keshi’s former contract expired after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
