The Kebbi State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has dismissed claims of expelling Senator, Bala Ibn Na’Allah.
It was gathered that a post on Facebook by a group known as ‘Dandalin APC’, had been circulating reports that Na’Allah had been expelled from the party.
However, addressing newsmen on Sunday, the party Publicity Secretary in the state, Sani Dododo denied the expulsion.
Dododo said, “APC has rules and regulations governing the party.
“So, a personality with the status of Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah in the party and also from the constituency he is representing cannot be expelled from the party without committing any offense.
“Even if he offended the party, due process must be followed. Unless it goes through the constitutional channels from ward level to local government level and state and up to Central Working Committee of 16 members before a party member will be expelled.”
Dododo while urging supporters to ignore the rumour, noted that Na’Allah had not committed any offense against the party that would warrant such an action being taken against him.
