Katsina declares stiff penalty for kidnappers, cattle rustlers, rapists

The Katsina State government, on Friday declared stiff penalty for kidnappers and cattle rustlers in the state.

It declared penalty of a death sentence against kidnappers and cattle rustlers in the state.

The State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari made the disclosure shortly after signing two laws, the penal code and procedure laws in the state. The government also declared “life imprisonment against rapist, fine and compensation to be paid by the offender to the rape victim.”
