Kano Pillars have successfully defended their Glo Premier League title, even though they were defeated 2-0 by Lobi Stars.
Barnabas Imenger’s brace helped the Makurdi side to a comfortable home win, which ensured they will not be relegated this season.
Pillars however went on to win the league, as their closest contenders also lost their final matches of the season – Bayelsa United and El Kanemi Warriors were both beaten 1-0, by Gombe United and Enugu Rangers respectively.
