The mother of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State, Hajiya Fadimatu Umaru Ganduje passed away by 7am on Friday in Kano. She died at the age of 95.
Fadimatu is survived by six children among who are Alhaji Sama’ila Umar, the Madaki of Ganduje, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Governor of Kano State and Alhaji Hussaini Umar Ganduje, the Executive Secretary of Kano State Teachers Board among other relatives.
She will be buried according to Islamic rites at Ganduje town by 2pm after Friday prayers.
