Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna Central, has condemned the killing of four policemen by bandits in the state.
DAILY POST reports that four operatives of the IGP Intelligent Response Team (IRT) were killed on Saturday after a gun duel with bandits in Kaduna State.
Reacting, Sani called on security agencies to rise against killings in the country, even as he offered condolences to the families of the deceased.
On his Twitter page, he wrote: “The Killing of four policemen in Kaduna by Kidnappers is condemnable. Enough of this kidnappings and killings.
“All security agencies and the general public must rise up against this atrocious crime. My condolences to the families of the deceased.”
Meanwhile, Commander of the IGP Intelligent Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari, told DAILY POST on Sunday evening that very serious efforts were in progress to bring the killers to book.
