Kaduna Government interdicts LGA chairman, two civil servants

The Chairman, Interim Management Committee of Kaduna South Local Government Area in Kaduna State, Alhaji Yahaya Ibrahim Shinko, has been interdicted by the state government with immediate effect.

A statement issued on Tuesday in Kaduna by the Special Assistant to governor El-Rufai on Media and Publicity, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, said the Chairman of the Interim Management Committee,had been directed to hand over the affairs of the council to the Vice Chairman.

The statement explained that the government had requested the Local Government Service Commission to interdict two staff of Kaduna South Local Government.

The affected staff, according to the statement are Ya’u Nalado Makarfi, Deputy Director (Revenue), and Nalado T. Auwal, an accountant.
