As part of efforts to ensure efficient and timely service delivery, the boards of agencies and parastatals in Kaduna State have been dissolved.
In a statement issued and signed by Senior Special Assistant to Governor Nasir Elrufai on Media and Publicity Wednesday evening, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, who is also a commissioner designate, said the dissolution, which takes immediate effect does not affect commissions as they enjoy constitutionally protected tenure.
His words, “The Kaduna State Government today announced the dissolution of the boards of its agencies and parastatals.
“However, the dissolution does not affect Commissions which enjoy constitutionally-protected tenure for their members.
“The government has expressed its gratitude for the service rendered to the state by the members of dissolved boards,” he said.
