The Senator representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial district, Danjuma Laah, has expressed shock over the death of the paramount ruler of Adara chiefdom in Kaduna state, Agom Adara, Maiwada Galadima.
Maiwada Galadima, a first class Chief of Adara chiefdom, was abducted since last week by unknown gunmen, but, his lifeless body, was found on the 25th October, 2018, around Kateri Kaduna/Abuja expressway.
The Senator, in a statement issued in Kaduna on Friday, described the death of the paramount ruler as provocative and capable of throwing the State into chaos.
While expressing his heartfelt sympathy, the Senator called on the people of Adara to desist from any action that may lead to breakdown of law and order in the state.
He called on Adara people to support the government in restoring peace so as to bring the perpetrators of the heinous act to book.
The Senator observed that the late traditional ruler was a true patriot and embodiment of humility, doggedness, sincere in discharging his duties and will be greatly missed.
He, however, called on governor El-Rufai to step up security surveillance in ensuring every life is protected irrespective of ethnic or religion correlation.
The Senator also described the Agom Adara as an astute traditional ruler, a bridge builder and a peacemaker who died when his services were highly and sincerely needed in moving Southern Kaduna and the state forward.
