Juventus names Maurizio Sarri new manager as Italian exits Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri has been appointed Juventus’ new manager.

Sarri succeeds Max Allegri in the Allianz Stadium.

The 60-year-old joins after the Blues won the Europa League final in his final match.

They beat Arsenal 4-1 in Baku to clinch Sarri’s first ever silverware of his managerial career.

The Blues also finished third in the Premier League and reached the EFL Cup final.

Frank Lampard, Chelsea’s record goalscorer, is favourite to succeed Sarri at Stamford Bridge though no deal has yet been agreed with Derby to hire the 40-year-old.
