Italian giants, Juventus want to sign Chelsea defender, Gary Cahill as a replacement for the departed Leonardo Bonucci.

Cahill’s place in Chelsea’s starting lineup this season is in doubt following the arrival of Antonio Rudiger.

Rudiger has made an impressive adjustment to the pace of the Premier League in his first two matches for Chelsea.

The 31-year-old England international was named club captain in the summer, but saw red just 14 minutes into the opening day defeat to Burnley.

He subsequently sat out the win at Tottenham through suspension.

The Sun UK reports that he could now lose his place in Antonio Conte’s first XI.

Juventus who refused selling Bonucci to Chelsea last summer, are now in to sign the Blues’ captain.
