Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has finally given the club his approval to appoint Chelsea coach, Maurizio Sarri as the club’s new manager.
DAILY POST had reported that Sarri’s future at Chelsea is uncertain, despite winning the Europa League last week and finishing third in the English Premier League.
However, Tuttosport is now reporting that Ronaldo has given his endorsement to the Old Lady hierarchy to complete a transfer for Sarri in the coming days.
The Italian newspaper claimed that the 34-year-old likes the attacking football played by Sarri at Chelsea, and the effect his style has had on the team’s forward talisman.
The report also claimed that the Portuguese captain is excited by the prospect of ‘Sarri-ball’ coming to Serie A champions, adding that he hopes to benefit from it.
Ronaldo, who won the Serie A Best Player this season, scored 21 goals in 31 appearances for Juventus.
