Jose Mourinho has the next seven matches, to save his job as Manchester United manager, SportsMail reports.
United have not won their last four matches, as a disappointing start to the season continues.
Mourinho’s relationship with record signing, Paul Pogba is under strain, while yesterday, Antonio Valencia apologised after he liked an Instagram post calling for the manager’s sack.
Other senior players are also known to be frustrated with the situation but determined to make things work under Mourinho.
Mourinho’s side take on Newcastle this weekend and while a heavy defeat may prompt a different outcome, it is understood an upcoming schedule which includes fixtures with Juventus (twice), Chelsea and Manchester City, will either seal his fate or buy him more time.
