A factioal Social Democratic Party, SDP, presidential candidate, Donald Duke, has reacted to the planned arraignment of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Walter Onnoghen.
Attacking the Presidency over the move, Duke noted that the government has lost its bearing.
In a tweet on Sunday, the former governor of Cross River State also noted that the time of the judgment was poor, and described it as bad omen.
He tweeted, “The assault on the CJ at this time is in poor judgement and a bad omen.
“To act cavalier and without tact, is folly. Our government has lost its bearing.”
DAILY POST reported on Friday that the presidency has concluded arrangement to arraign the CJN on Monday over sundry issues, mainly that of failure to declare his assets.
