The Joint Task Force,JTF, has arrested seven suspects believed to be members of Boko Haram at different bomb factories located in Farawa and Seika areas of Kano state.
DailyPost has gathered that the JTF, during the operations, rescued four women who were believed to be wives of the sect members.
JTF Spokesman, Captain Ikedichi Iwehia, who disclosed this to Journalists on Wednesday, said six assorted wires for priming suicide vehicles, 32 Motorola handsets, one AK-47riffle, and 52 Motorola handset batteries were also uncovered at the bomb factories.
He further disclosed that the operation led to the discovery of 46 Explosive Improvised Devices,EIDs, from the said bomb factories.
The operation, which lasted for hours, did not record any casualty, as there was no resistance by the Boko Haram members during the said operation.
The bomb factories were later demolished, with heavy security operatives on ground to monitor the demolition.
Captain Iwehia assured members of the public of safety of life and property, saying that security should be a collective responsibility of everybody.
He, however, commended the people in the state for their collective efforts for providing useful information to security operatives in the state.
