Jose Mourinho considering shock return to British football

Jose Mourinho is considering a return to management in Britain with Celtic, after receiving an offer from the Scottish giants, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Bhoys sealed their eighth consecutive league title with victory against Aberdeen on Saturday, but the Glasgow club is searching for a long-term replacement for Brendan Rodgers.

Neil Lennon replaced Rodgers on an interim basis, but Celtic are not likely to appoint Lennon for a second time.

Mourinho has been out of work since being sacked by United in December, but has repeatedly stated he will be back in management by the start of next season.

The Portuguese coach is relaxed about the location of his next job and has made it clear he’s open to trying a new experience.

Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is said to have a good relationship with the Celtic board and will present the offer to the former Chelsea boss.
