Jonathan to lead Buhari on tour of Aso Rock May 28

The tour of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, which President Goodluck Jonathan promised his soon-to-be successor, Muhammadu Buhari, about a fortnight ago, has now been slated to take place on May 28.

Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State, who disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the Council of State meeting in Abuja, said Buhari would be conducted round the Villa, alongside the Vice President-elect, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

He noted that this formed part of the transition programme approved on Tuesday at the Council of State meeting presided over by President Jonathan.

The Benue governor briefed journalists about the development alongside his Niger State counterpart, Babangida Aliyu.
