Contrary to rumour that Ariwera, a son of former President Goodluck Jonathan is dead, latest report shows that he is hale and hearty.

Report went viral on social media yesterday evening that the young Ariwera passed away in London where the family is currently in a holiday.

However, several aides of the former President have confirmed that his rumored death came as a surprise to them, as the boy was not even sick.

According to Saharareporters, he plans to return to Nigeria later tonight via Germany, flying Lufthansa into Port Harcourt tomorrow.

Jonathan left the shores of the country few weeks back after handing the mantle of leadership to President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29.

He spent six years in office as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

His bid to return for second term crumbled after president Buhari defeated him during the March 28 presidential election.
