A former Aide De Camp, ADC, to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Moses Jitoboh, a commissioner of police, has come out to clear the air over his reported arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

News of Jitoboh’s arrest had been making the rounds, especially on social media platforms, in the wake of alleged clampdown of former aides of ex- President Jonathan.

Jibotoh, who was allegedly lured to the Presidential Villa and arrested, however denied that he was ever arrested by the anti-graft agency.

He made the denial while speaking with Thisday on Tuesday, adding that he only spent 30 minutes at the Villa. He also added that he recently changed his phone numbers, making it difficult for people to reach him. This, according to him, might have fueled speculations that he was arrested.

Jibotoh, was ADC to Jonathan from 2007 to 2010. Before then, he was the ADC to DSP Alamieyeseigha when he was the governor of Bayelsa State and Jonathan was then deputy governor.
