President Goodluck Jonathan has cancelled today’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The president’s directive is to enable members attend the three day prayer for the late Captain Yusuf Sabo Sambo, the younger brother of the Vice President, Namadi Sambo.
This was contained in a statement by Sam Nwaobasi, special assistant (media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim.
“His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has directed that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will not meet tomorrow, 30th April, 2014, to enable Council members attend the three day prayer for the late Captain Yusuf Sabo Sambo, the younger brother of the Vice President,” said the statement.
