Former Chelsea defender, John Terry, has paid tribute to Antonio Conte, after the Italian was sacked by the club on Thursday.
Conte’s three-year deal with the Blues has been cut short, with former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri set to replace him.
The former Juventus coach won the Premier League title in his first season, but that initial success was soured by an off-the-field power struggle over the club’s transfer policy.
The Blues were unable to defend their title, finishing fifth last season and missing out on Champions League.
Conte however won the FA Cup in his final match in charge.
Terry, who won the title with Conte in 2016/2017 campaign, took to Instagram to pay tribute to his old boss.
“Thank you boss. Great man, great manager.
“I wish you every success in the future,” he wrote.
