Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has dismissed talk of James Rodriguez moving to Manchester United this summer and insists the player “is here.”
Reports this week have suggested the Colombian midfielder, is set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, after falling down the pecking order under Zidane.
The La Liga giants signed the 25-year-old from Monaco for £71m after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but he is expected to cost around £65m.
However, Zidane refused to give much away, when asked about James’ future at a pre-match news conference on Tuesday.
“James is here, that’s not up for question. He’s with us,” he said.
“He didn’t train [on Tuesday] because he has a knock, but James is here and we’re thinking just about the three games we have left this year.”
