Egypt midfielder, Mohammed Elneny, has warned Arsenal team-mate, Alex Iwobi, that his national team will prove tough opposition for him and his Super Eagles team-mates.
Both countries are preparing for a crucial AFCON 2017 qualifying double header. The first leg will be played this Friday in Kaduna, while the return leg will take place in Alexandria on Tuesday.
“I have a good feeling that we will be able to win the match. Nigeria is a tough team, but we are good,” Elneny told MBC TV.
“I also feel that I am surrounded by support from everyone encouraging us to get back to winning.”
Elneny also admited he is also looking forward to coming up against his Gunners team-mate, Iwobi.
“I told him (Iwobi) that it will be hard for Nigeria to beat Egypt,” he declared.
